This position is an essential part of Sherwin’s manufacturing team. This position is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment to support production requirements and goals. Equipment may include; dryers, chillers, dust collection equipment and bag house, HVAC, re pump, extruders, mixers, mills, lling line equipment, conveyors, stretch wrappers, mixing chambers, motors, pumps, as well as dock and building maintenance, etc. This position performs various maintenance tasks as assigned and is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and productive working environment
Additional Information:
Shift: Three (3) Rotating Eight (8) Hour Shift Schedule - Days (7:00AM - 3:00PM), Afternoons (3:00PM - 11:00PM), and Nights (11PM - 7:00AM)
The Shift schedules may include working Saturdays and Sundays
Afternoon Shift Premium of $0.50 per hour and Night Shift Premium of $0.75 per hour.
This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.

Preferred Qualifications:
Have at least three (3) years of work experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing and/or distribution environmentHave at least an industrial, electrical, and/or welding certification or licenseHave at least three (3) years of maintenance experience applying electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic conceptsHave at least three (3) years of work experience implementing Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) and/or Human-Machine Interface (HMI)
