With the opportunity to cover five sites in the greater Southington and Newington area and treat specialties including vestibular care, concussion management, sports medicine, neurologic/movement disorders, balance and gait assessment, and orthopedics including post-op, this clinician will report directly to the local area manager. This role encompasses evaluation skills and techniques, analysis of patients, and therapeutic application of physical and chemical agents, exercise and other procedures to maximize the patient's functional independence. Evaluation involves strength, motor control, joint mobility, soft tissue integrity, pain, balance, coordination, posture, cardiopulmonary function, endurance, gait and functional abilities in activities of daily living. Reporting structure is dependent upon the site in which the staff member is assigned. Qualifications Qualifications • Current CT Physical Therapy (PT) license required.• BS, MS or DPT in Physical Therapy from an accredited American Physical Therapy Association Program. • Outpatient specific experience highly preferred.
