Under the direction of a Radiologist, operates Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce clinical diagnostic images and performs procedures according to established standards and practices, including patient identification, safety standards and completion of required forms before allowing a patient to leave zone area.Job Responsibilities:Accurately utilizes the PACS (Picture Archival System) to make images available to the radiologist for interpretation with minimum number of exceptions.Enters proper exam coding in the Radiology Information System and arrives and completes exams in a timely fashion.Assists in the care and maintenance of facilities, equipment and supplies. Reports any equipment problems or malfunctions to the supervisor in a timely fashion.Instructs and supervises radiography students in clinical practicum.
