PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITIONOperates, inspects and services plant equipment usually contained in a nuclear power plant. Operates manually controlled equipment and remotely controlled equipment from locations other than the central control room. Determines operating status of equipment from previous shift personnel and log entries. Checks cause of operating problems and reports to supervisor. Maintains a log recording unusual events and changes in operating conditions. Provides direction and provides operations training of all personnel.
