The Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (“QAPI”) Specialist is an individual that will be assisting with agency efforts toward the process of improving clinical documentation and outcomes by taking a systematic, comprehensive, and data-drive approach to maintaining and improving safety and quality. The Assistant Nurse Manager is recognized as the clinical expert in Patient Care Services and a leadership role model for Registered Nurses and all staff under their supervision. Directs the work in such a way to ensure the overall Patient Flow. This position will assign all patient care activities assuring that staff are qualified to care for assigned patients, support team members, and ensure quality and service excellence to our patients. They will also, facilitate challenging situations. The ASNM will appropriately assign the workload. Responsible for monitoring, maintaining and developing staff performance.
