Usually this involves development of a "parish" within the hospital. The chaplain actively serves as a member of an ecumenical pastoral care staff sharing in activities such as staff meetings, on call responsibilities, and providing hospital wide worship experiences.Minimum Qualifications:Master's Degree (Required)Degree in Theology/Human Relations from an accredited theological school, university or seminary; or four to ten years related Experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of and Experience . Four units of Clinical Pastoral Education; Ordained, licensed , vowed or endorsed by denomination. Knowledge of pastoral care and counseling skills, especially as practiced within the hospital setting.
