Perform annual/systematic 90 day and HM-183 inspections (trailers) on equipment as required. Ensure equipment meets Federal FHWA standards.Operate a yard hostler truck to move trailers within the facility yard and the shop as needed.Order and receive parts and supplies as needed.Adheres to all established safety (OSHA) and environmental policies and standards to include identification, use, and proper procedures for handling or disposal of hazardous waste.Clean, organize and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safetyUsing welding equipmentPerform miscellaneous duties as assigned.Perform HM-183 DOT inspections (P,V,I,K,L,HS,UC,) (EPA-M27) Trailer Mechanic Required Skills/Abilities: Must possess at least 3 years of experience in repair and service of trailers and medium duty trucks.Required to have demonstrated knowledge of vehicle and equipment theory, principles and repair relating to diesel engines, air, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.Required to have demonstrated knowledge of tractor and trailer maintenance, DOT rules and regulations, company policies and procedures.Ability to use vehicle diagnostic software.Up to 3 years as a fleet mechanic. DOT HM-183 certification, Training or experience. ASE Certification not required but recommended. Education and Experience: High school diploma, completion of G.E.D Required. We are seeking skilled MIG Welders to join our team. Candidates must have 2+ years of proven experience and pass a MIG Pressure Test. This role demands precision, attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
$2000 Sign on Bonus for those who qualify. $1000 after 45 days of employment. Remaining $1000 received after 90 days of employment.
Shift Available: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Schedule: Monday - Friday working 10 hours per day and some Saturdays Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week
Perform MIG welding with precision, ensuring strong welds on various metal types. Read and follow blueprints, drawings and specifications. Set up and maintain welding equipment, performing safety checks before and after use. Fabricate and assemble metal parts using appropriate welding techniques. Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards, checking for defects and strength. Keep the workspace clean and organized, adhering to safety regulations. Use cutting tools and related equipment as needed. Operate forklifts and overhead cranes (training provided).

Qualifications: Minimum of 2+ years of MIG welding experience required, 4+ years preferred. Successfully pass a MIG pressure test. Set up and operate your own welding machine independently. Skilled in using power tools and other related equipment. Expertise in MIG welding tools and techniques with a keen eye for detail. Knowledge of various metals and welding processes. Strong grasp of safety protocols for welding and shop operations. Flexibility to work overtime when needed. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
