Job Skills & Qualifications Required: High school diploma or equivalent5+ years of proven work experience in a maintenance within a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of training and experienceAble to demonstrate the ability to maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and mechanical systems involving electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, and hydraulic repair or replacement, including blown fuses and tripped breakers.Knowledge of PLC Logic, and ability to read schematics and blueprints.Understand electrical panel and drive components.Understand gear trains, shafts/journals, pulleys, and bearings.Good problem-solving skills.Must be able to draw a 3 phase motor control CircuitBasic computer skills including Microsoft OfficePLC experience in a manufacturing settingMust be able to work Nights / Weekends Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is required to stand for long periods of time, use arms and hands to feel or reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl on occasion, talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee may work with materials that could irritate eyes, skin and breathing. Appropriate personal protective equipment is required. The employee will be working near and/or with automated equipment. This may cause risk of injury if safety procedures are not followed.
