Use analytic tools and traditional industrial engineering methods to optimize production functions.Responsibilities include:Use M.O.S.T. to develop balanced processes across AF manufacturing areas. Work to achieve Maximum Process Efficiency. Apply Lean Manufacturing techniques. Design processes that are simple and achieve SQCDM targets.Audit big data to ensure accurate information across all Operations Standards. Mobilize Excel formulas and VBA coding to optimize tasks.Regularly lead meetings with other Honda functional groups to develop and launch improvement themes (Quality, Safety, Delivery, Production, Purchasing, Packaging, or Logistics).Perform time estimates for process/line work, equipment loads, and develop operation standards for the AF Department during developmentIdentify opportunities to reduce waste within the process and improve efficiency.
