Collaborate with design from feasibility through design phase to achieve a product that can be manufactured with-in the factory’s capabilities while working with MMC’s to prepare and execute the trial phase of the new model development.Key AccountabilitiesEnsure a robust fixture design for mass production combining manufacturing requirements, factory characteristics and project targets. Conduct feasibilities studies of fixturing and detailed confirmations of new technologies, design concepts and manufacturing processes. Identify past model problem history, opportunities for cost savings and safety concerns. Collaborate with product designers to develop most efficient manufacturing process. Develop and manage project schedule and budgets to meet targets. Track and report project progress and status to achieve results. Understand and routinely communicate project information to team and customers Facilitate prototype approvals, coordinate supplier sourcing, and complete confirmations with on-line trials through MMC buy-off Through the New Model development, create and maintain all fixture documents, files, and tracking.
