Position Requirements The person requires an ability to understand, utilize, and communicate specialized information in speech and written text. This specialized training is often formalized and recognized by a specific certificate, diploma, or license. - Thorough understanding of repair design and development engineering manufacturing process, tool design, and fabrication methods and processes. - Strong organizational, analytical, and oral and written communication skills. - Thorough knowledge of computer aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) systems. Master-CAM a plus. - Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints. - Familiarity with Fanuc and Haas controls and the ability to program at the machine, as needed. - Prior experience as a machinist or toolmaker is preferred. - High School Diploma or equivalent - Minimum 3 to 5 years relevant experience. - Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus. - College diploma in manufacturing technology or a related discipline; or equivalent is a plus. - Must be a US Citizen or a US Permanent Resident per ITAR regulations.
