As a RegisteredNurse in our 52A Surgical Unit,you will become familiar with complex medical histories, innovative surgical procedures, pain modalities, and comprehensive nutritional support.52A Surgical Unit is a post-surgical unit that heavily specializes in general surgeries including bariatric gastric sleeve, roux-en-y, cholecystectomy, thyroidectomy, colostomy, urostomy, and others. 52A is the primary Trauma floor for patients not requiring ICU. These are high acuity patients coming straight from PACU or ED who require close monitoring and mobilization.
