CNC Operator2nd Shift - Monday-Friday: 3:30 pm - 12 amEligible for quarterly bonusesPay ranges based on experienceUp to $3,000 SIGN ON BONUS FOR ALL NEW HIRES!!!We are located at1000 West Bagley Rd., Berea, OH 44017.Come see our beautiful, recently renovated and temperature controlled facility today!What You’ll DoAs a CNC Operator, you’ll be part of our Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing team located in Berea, OH.Reads and interprets work instructions, prints, and job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructionsWith assistance, troubleshoots, edits, and optimizes new production programs to ensure efficient overall productionCalculates and sets machine controls to specific work orders and regulate factors such as cutting depth, speed, feed and coolant flowDocument new program changes and processes to ensure setups can be duplicated and overall production time is optimizedObserves operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined work piece to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as fixed gauges, calipers, and micrometersDeburr parts to ensure they meet blueprint specificationsFollow all safety policies and proceduresSetup machines on a flexible basis to ensure optimum output throughout the shopPerform other duties as assignedQualifications and Requirements:Education and Experience: 1-3 years’ experience as CNC mill/lathe operator preferredExperience verifying dimensions of parts, using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, depth gauges, and / or fixed gaugesBasic computer skillsAbility to perform basic mathStrong attention to detailAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsFlexibility in work assignmentsMust be able to continuously perform grasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walkingMust be able to handle continuous standing 8-10 hours dailyMust be able to perform frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 70 lbs. with assistanceMust be able to work daily and weekly overtime as requiredPrevious manufacturing experience preferred but not requiredWe Don’t Just Build The World, We Build Innovative Technology Too.Joining the Stanley Black & Decker team means working in an innovative, tech-driven and highly collaborative team environment supported by over 58,000 professionals in 60 countries across the globe.
