MANAGER, FINANCIAL ANALYTICS
Position Summary/Objective
This role will lead a team that creates financial models and analysis of current/past financial and operational performance as well as develops reporting packages to executive management and investors. This position will oversee the creation of the budget for the Operating Partnership and Management Company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This position will oversee/lead a team that will do the following:
Perform month end financial analysis, including NOI, FFO, Core FFO and Adjusted FFO Coverage, as well as Same Home & Stabilized unit analysisMake strategic recommendations to improve performance and efficiencyDevelop Budget for the Operating Partnership and associated Management CompanyComplete Ad-Hoc projects needed by CFO & Managing Partners, as well as silo leaders from Acquisitions, Property Management and Construction teamsPerform portfolio performance analysis including IRR, Yield, NOI, etc. developed from published historical and forward-looking financial statementsProduce the monthly data tape and other items necessary for 3 party valuation team to produce the NAV file/reportPull together data and put together analysis and recommendations to be used in investor facing materialsOversee/assist with Cash Forecasting and PlanningAssist with Data Analysis related to any of the following:
Property ManagementOccupancyRent GrowthR&M/Turnover SpendAccounts ReceivableCollections percentages and Tenant UnderwritingAcquisitions/UnderwritingCap Rate, Gross Yield and NOI modelingNew potential Portfolio analysis and impactRehabConstruction spend and trendDevelop and maintain metrics driven reporting and strategy to communicate information to executive staff used for understanding and improving our core businessDevelop and report on new market financial modelingStrong data analytics skills. Ability to pull and pivot large data sets and communicate findings/action items to silo leaders and executive managementAssist with public financial (SEC) reportingMonitor, Manage, Analyze and Advise on company debt and interest rate environment as it pertains to current, future and expiring debt to achieve the best cost of capital available, leverage ratios, Cap Rates and refinancing in line with company return objectivesAssist with VineBrook vs. Public comparison reporting on quarterly basis with trend analysis and VineBrook ratio improvement recommendationsAssist IT in developing and managing dashboards with real time, dynamic data necessary to enhance executive management’s business decisions
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field4-7 years of previous Financial, debt and financial analysis experienceAdvanced Financial Analytical SkillsAbility to Operate and Report StrategicallyWell informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, real estate, and business environmentStrong Mathematics and Time Management skillsAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint SkillsExcellent Communication SkillsStrong report design and presentation skillsEthical Conduct and ThoroughnessPerforms with minimal supervisionExperience with Tableau preferredExperience with SQL preferred
