The company prides itself on its state-of-the-art facilities, cutting-edge technology, and a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional products.As a CNC Machinist at Ellwood Crankshaft, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by operating CNC controlled 5-axis milling equipment and ensuring precision in the production of components and assemblies. Key Responsibilities:Flexibly perform tasks for the complete or partial manufacture of components and/or assemblies as directed by drawings, sketches, or other instructions in support of the evolving manufacturing process.Operate CNC controlled 5-axis milling equipment with precision to meet and hold close tolerances as specified.Operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, polishing, and inspecting equipment.Plan and execute setups, layouts, and work according to product specifications, blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.Determine proper operation sequence, select speeds, feeds, and cutting tools according to material type and finish requirements.Use conventional and precision measuring instruments.Perform in-process inspections, certifications, and documentation as needed.Understand and effectively execute metalworking principles, including tool and material selection, tool geometry, feeds, and speeds.Adhere to plant safety rules in all work.Maintain the highest quality standards in all assigned work.Keep accurate reports and records as required.Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines.Maintain housekeeping in all work areas and perform other routine labor work as assigned according to production flow and/or plant needs.Required Qualifications:3+ years of CNC machining experienceExperience working with lathes preferredAbility to read and interpret CNC program manuscriptsExperience using precision measuring instrumentsExperience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and other heavy equipment preferredHigh School diploma or GEDValid Driver’s LicenseLocation: Sharon PASalary:$19 - $23/hour commensurate with experienceAt Ellwood Crankshaft, we foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and teamwork, ensuring that we meet and exceed the expectations of our customers.
