Qualifications: EducationAny program approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics that leads to the registration as a Registered Dietitian/Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist (RD/RDN).Basic knowledge of subspecialty area (inclucing nutrition support,diabetes, cardiology, renal, oncology) Must obtain approximately 15 hours of continuing education credis per calendar year. Keep current of new findings/research.ExperienceKnowledge for use of different formula's when assessing patient's nutritional needs.Completion of general and patient care orientation is required prior to providing patient care.Six months of clinical experience in an acute care facility is preferred.Licensure/CertificationsRegistration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and an Oklahoma State license.
