Receives calls from the field in reference to aircraft being placed out of service (OOS) for maintenance. Creates all OOS for maintenance pages and is responsible for OOS maintenance updates. Initiates calls to mechanics for unscheduled maintenance and coordinates all efforts in returning an aircraft to service to include personnel, parts, tools and technical data. Ensures return to service (RTS) procedures are followed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES: Monitors Daily Activities for the 135 Maintenance Operations. Ensures all maintenance performed is addressed in RAMCO through the use of the AML Collects data for the submission of FAR part 135.415 service difficulty reporting (SDR) Assist the DOM in the surveillance of EagleMed 135 operations for compliance Issues authorization for inspection/overhaul extensions and maintains log of authorized inspection extensions. Receives calls from Mechanics/Pilots for King Air C90, Beechcraft B200 being placed OOS for maintenance. Reviews with Mechanic/Pilot proper write up to be entered into the maintenance record Ensures an AML is created in Ramco to record all maintenance performed Creates all OOS for maintenance pages and is responsible for OOS for maintenance updates. Initiates calls to mechanics for unscheduled maintenance and coordinates all efforts in returning an aircraft to service to include personnel, parts, tools and technical data. Assists mechanics in troubleshooting aircraft and engine problems Works through procedures to identify proper parts required and ensures they are ordered appropriately for King Air C90, Beechcraft B200 series aircraft Contact Technical Representatives or Engineering services to gather technical data, expanded damage limits, or detailed repair guidance to expedite RTS as required Ensures return to service (RTS) procedures are followed Issues MEL control numbers for deferred maintenance and ensures proper tracking in Ramco.
