Monitors, records and communicates patient condition.Performs advanced respiratory care modalities.Evaluates respiratory practice, administration of medications, and treatment based on patient outcome.Educates the patient and family about the health condition and provides information about community support groups and other available programs.Responds to emergency resuscitation team code.Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure andSupervision obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Respiratory Care Practitioner provisional letter will be accepted until license is issued.Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board forRespiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy ofPediatrics (AAP) preferred.Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.
