Design and fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures and tools, improving existing efficiencies. Maintain and repair distribution center building and grounds using hand and power tools, hoists and cranes. Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears and other machine parts using pressure washer, brushes, grease gun and gear lubricant dispenser. Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment. Operate cutting torch and welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. Assemble, install and maintain pipe system and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Maintain a safe, clean work area. Ability to read and understand blueprints, wire schematics and technical manuals. Maintain detailed summary sheets of tasks performed with regard to preventive maintenance, diagnoses of problems and repairs performed on equipment. Attain at least a B+ grade and perform work on ammonia system. Maintain current HAZMAT training and resp. fit testing. Perform other miscellaneous duties as needed and assigned.
