SummaryLancaster General Hospital, a Level I-accredited Trauma Center, is completing a major expansion and remodel of the ED this summer that will nearly double the size of the department, from 63 beds to 95 beds. This includes 10 beds in our updated and expanded behavioral health rooms, and 13 dedicated pediatric beds. Each day our Emergency Department treats 300 to 400 patients with chronic and acute issues, ruling out life threatening conditions and intervening when necessary to stop the progression of acute processes. JOB REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:RN licensure is required, issued by the PA Board of Nursing.Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher level nursing degree is required.
