In this role, you will:Plan and prepare individualized anesthesia protocols in collaboration with a veterinary anesthesiologist and other specialists.Administer and monitor anesthesia, using advanced equipment to track vital signs, depth of anesthesia, and patient comfort.Assist during surgical and diagnostic procedures, anticipating the needs of the veterinary team and adapting to rapid changes in patient status.Manage perioperative pain control, administering medications and monitoring pain levels to ensure patient comfort.Help maintainaccurate records of anesthesia protocols, drug usage, and patient responses to ensure consistent and informed care.Maintain a calm, organized workspace, ensuring quick access to necessary supplies and troubleshooting equipment as needed.Engage in continuing education and case discussions, keeping abreast of the latest anesthesia protocols, monitoring techniques, and best practices.We don’t just get through the workday; we embrace the challenges and triumphs that come with providing emergency care. Requirements What We’re Looking For We’re seeking Veterinary Anesthesia Technicians who take pride in precision, remain calm under pressure, and find fulfillment in delivering outstanding patient care.
