PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Field Management * Follows scope and notify Project Director of discrepancies. * Ensures all work is contracted/subcontracted. * Obtains building permits as required and follow all government guidelines for each permit and project. * Adheres to all OSHA and Environment regulations. * Assists with change order amount when requested. * Manages subcontractors to verify that they are supplying adequate resources to meet contract requirements. * Secures project resources in the most cost-effective manner and ensure they are on site at the appropriate time. Manage bid-buy out with trade partners. * Ensures project work meets the highest standards of workmanship based on industry standards. * Directly supervises BluSky personnel on projects as required. * Adheres to all company Best Practices. * Always provides the highest level of customer service. * All other duties or projects as assigned. Office Management * Executes proper subcontractor agreements per company guidelines. * Ensures all subcontractors are working under a subcontract agreement. * Approves or rejects invoices as appropriate, with proper communication with your Project Accountant. * Develops and updates project schedules. * Updates and provides schedules to Project Director and Profit Center Leader weekly. * Responsible for directing, mentoring and training junior level team members. * Represents BluSky emergency mitigation on-call management rotation. Profitability Management * Meets or exceeds billing, revenue, and profit margin goals as defined by BluSky. * Secures bids to obtain fair pricing on jobs within two weeks of assignment of the job per Best Practices. * Completes buy out worksheet and update weekly. * Tracks change orders and all extras on projects via signed change order form and budget updates. QUALIFICATIONS: * 3-5 years residential and commercial construction, general contracting and/or restoration experience preferred. * 3+ years project management experience preferred. * Must be able to travel in response to both emergency and non-emergency losses across the nation. * Ability to communicate effectively with clients, internal and external contacts throughout the project management process.
