The DSC Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the safe operating condition of our Fredericksburg Distribution Center. The DSC maintenance technician must be a self-directed individual and have proven knowledge of electrical systems installation and repair.

$1.00/Hour Shift Differential
This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.

HVAC ResponsibilitiesRobot Maintenance and TroubleshootingMaintenance, Troubleshooting and repair of equipment, including forklifts, hi-lifts, and order pickers, wrappers, vacu-hoists, etc.Perform preventative maintenance duties as assignedPerform carpentry, electrical maintenance, pipefitting, and plumbing tasks as needed.Perform a variety of tasks in the maintenance and repair of the DSC and its systems, including fire and security systems. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of ageMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the futureMust have two (2) years of work experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing and/or distribution environmentMust have one (1) year of maintenance experience applying electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
Have at least three (3) years of work experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing and/or distribution environmentHave an industrial, electrical, and/or welding certification or license Have formal training in or one (1) year of work experience implementing Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)
