Overview: Execute the installation of HVAC systems, hood systems, refrigeration systems, food service equipment, and shelving in new stores, rebuilds, and remodels. Install new equipment for rollouts of new menu items. Responsibilities: 1. Installation and troubleshoot refrigeration equipment, HVAC unit, duct work, food service equipment, hood systems and shelving according to action plan and quality standards. Balancing of HVAC systems, fryer hood, and dishwasher hood.2. Schedule and coordinate all equipment installation activities, in the absence of site leadership.3. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for Industrial Maintenance of Building.Performs Building / Industrial maintenance duties (i.e., basic plumbing, refrigeration systems, electrical; running of wire/data cables, repair dock doors/plates; basic welding, basic carpentry, painting, storage rack repairs, drywall)Review any equipment reports submitted by warehouse associates, record actions/repairs taken, and maintains a repair log per USF policy.Perform PM’s (Preventative Maintenance) on equipment, and maintain PM log with proper documentation, per USF policy.Comply with all USF and government guidelines regarding safety when working on equipment (i.e. Lock Out/Tag Out, placarding and required documentation, safe work environment, etc.)Responsible for company tools and maintenance equipment used in performance of job duties, including inventory maintenance, safe operation, proper storage, and security of tool area.RELATIONSHIPSInternal: Warehouse personnel and supervisory staff, Operations support, Maintenance and Sanitation personnelExternal: Outside vendorsQUALIFICATIONSRelated Experience: A minimum of six months previous Building Maintenance experience required.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of Building Maintenance, electrical knowledge, basic plumbing, welding and carpentry; able to read and write legibly; able to follow orders; basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide); able to work with little direct supervisionPreferred (not needed): equipment repair and operation; able to repair and overhaul warehouse equipmentPhysical Requirements:JOB REQUIRES WORKER TO:1.
