We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Technical Product Specialist and App Delivery, to join our Conventional Trust Engineering team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA – HYBRID.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Lead delivery of technology solutions within Product / Platform; oversee and drive on-time completion of analysis, design, development, testing, and release of the critical applications in partnership with the Product / Platform ManagerGuide production issues support and root cause analysis to remove blockersEnsure application of tech development best practices in across pod development teams, in alignment with standards and technical roadmap set by Engineering LeadManage Product / Platform-specific tech vendor assessment and ensure vendor accountabilityEscalate incidents or concerns to the Engineering Lead for resolution as neededProvide thought leadership and support for team of engineers and developers with issues and questionsProvide technical feedback to Product Owners, integrating input across all technical teams (incl. solutions architecture and design)Collaborate with Engineering Lead to identify opportunities for new technologies in the Product / Platform where relevant through research and continuous improvementManage and track adherence to tech development KPIs, with regular aggregated reporting of progress across podHead a team of engineers and data scientists focused on building solutions to the Conventional Trust business
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Bachelor’s or master's degree in computer science or related analytical fields, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree is preferred.Experience of at least 10 years in the financial services industry, having worked closely with different stakeholders globallyStrong execution skills and ability to navigate the organization to get things doneStrong hands-on technical skills to be able to swiftly create prototypes, analyze data, and build dashboardsLead a medium sized team and provide technical- and career-related coaching.
Manages a medium to large-sized or multiple small development teams. Is responsible for defining the overall methodology for assigned projects. Leads technical staff with regard to development activities. Structures and monitors activities based upon approved project methodologies. Collects and analyzes data and produces progress reports. Directs changes to processes to improve efficiencies and outcomes. Interacts with varied levels of management and development groups in support of the development effort. Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.
