Kemper Equipment is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team of engineers and technical experts. This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in a collaborative environment. As a Structural Engineer, you will work closely with mechanical engineers, designers and fabrication teams to design, estimate and manage complex structural projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities: Lead structural engineering efforts, including interpreting specifications, performing structural analysis, designing components, and resolving issues during manufacturing and installation. Develop, analyze, and interpret structural models using RISA-3D and AutoCAD 3D, integrating seamlessly with other project components. Prepare and oversee steel shop drawings and layout approval drawings, ensuring adherence to company and industry standards. Utilize MS Excel to create and manage complex design spreadsheets. Collaborate with mechanical engineers and designers to ensure proper interfaces between structures and equipment. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (required). Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Structural and/or Civil Engineering field. Advanced knowledge of AISC, AWS, OSHA, and MSHA standards. Proficiency with structural design software, including RISA-3D (or similar), and AutoCAD (3D modeling, design, and 2D drawing creation). Expertise in structural design involving steel and concrete materials. Strong understanding of structural steel detailing and concrete foundation principles. Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred). Solid skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and the full MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
