To embark on this adventure, you'll need to meet the following qualifications:
A bachelor's or associate's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university or collegeA minimum of 1-3 years' experience in 3D modeling of aero-engines and gas turbine components, Siemens NX/Teamcenter environments preferred.The ability to effortlessly decipher technical drawings with a deep understanding of ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning &Tolerancing.Proven capacity to meet deadlines, thrive under time constraints, maintain composure, and adeptly juggle multiple tasks with outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, engaging with employees and managers at all levels.Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for collaborative teamwork while thriving in a fast-paced, creative environment, enjoying the dynamic synergy of diverse teams.US Citizen and an active Secret Clearance or a secret clearance that's been active within the last 5 years or the ability to obtain one.
Key Responsibilities:
Check, engineer and analyze Product Definition per part family standards and design intent.Collaborate with Mechanical Design Engineer(s) to develop jet engine parts like: turbine airfoils, exhaust, nozzles, combustors, diffusers and more.Verify accuracy of 3D parametric Siemens NX models and their interrelationships through tolerance and geometric studies. This includes 2D associative drawing definition or Model Based Definition (MBD) as required.Participate in reviews as the Product Definition delegate.Prepare/Maintain various product related Teamcenter/NXManager data in support of Class I and II Engineering activities.Act as mentor/coach and provide training to newer Product Definition practitioners.

Primary Responsibilities:
Work in Siemens NX Drafting or MBD (model-based definition) for the development of complex jet engine or aircraft system components and assembliesCreate 2D concepts, detail drawings, layouts, and 3D CAD solid models and assemblies in Siemens NX, with Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and some Bill of MaterialsApply tolerance stack-up analysis results to ensure correct fit and alignment, and performance of complex aircraft assembliesKnow ASME Y14.5M 2018 GD&T standards and check drawings for accuracy and compliance to the customer and aerospace industry drafting and manufacturing standardsEnsure proper filing, control, and export classification of drawings and dataSupport product design reviews and coordinate with other disciplines like project, engineering, and manufacturing teamsProven capacity to work effectively in a team environment, comprehend and implement inputs, strong 2-way communication, meet deadlines and coordinate with project groupAttention to detail and strict adherence to the design process for successful realization of well defined products for manufacture by our demanding customers and their supply chain.
Qualifications/Experience Needed:
A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and some intern coop experienceIn-depth knowledge of ASME Y14.5M 2018 GD&T standardsWorking knowledge of drafting, CAD modeling and product life cycle (PLM) tools and general computer literacyU.S. citizenship is required to be eligible for a security clearanceMust possess or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
BSME with1-3 years of product definition experienceExperience with Siemens NX CAD Drafting and MBD and Teamcenter PLM in the design or definition of mechanical engine components and assembliesUS Citizen required due to nature of work and willingness to get DoD Secret/Collateral clearance#cj
