Here, you will make an impact by:Maintaining all plant systems, which includes processing, packing, warehouse and facility operations.Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Troubleshooting and repairing gear boxes, transmissions, pulley systems, etc.Disassembling and reassembling of machinery and various other mechanical drives.Entering Work Orders and inventory via SAMS, SAP or other MRP system.Assisting with Preventative Maintenance, continuous improvement, Kiazen events, and Lean eventsOperating safely by observing all plant safety rules and regulationsOperating and maintaining all material handling equipment (including PIVs)Performing other assignments as directed by supervision and leadershipPossessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed prior to start)One (1) year experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environmentAbility to work 3rd Shift (Monday - Friday; 11pm – 7am)Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Professional certifications, military background or an Associate degreeThree (3) to five (5) years’ experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environmentPossess strong mathematical skills and be a good problem solverAbility to read instructions, simple drawings or sketchesPIV certification (will train as needed)High Lift experience (will train as needed)Work location: Onsite - 32 River Rd, Stafford Springs, CT 06076Travel: No TravelRelocation Assistance: Not authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-beingSolventum offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
