Responsibilities: Oversees, plans and issues work orders to appropriate shift team members for the implementation of equipment modifications as well as preventative and any corrective maintenance.Prepares andcoordinates maintenance resources and provides recommendations for capital and continuous improvement projects.Reviews the operation of equipment with appropriate personnel to identify maintenance issues in the areas of Safety, Quality, Cost, Productivity and Customer Satisfaction.Reviews location’s Key Performance Indicators KPIs (Daily, Weekly and Monthly) to make recommendations for improving plant operations, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and maintenance problem resolution.Tracks, analyzes and improves the Maintenance department’s KPIs.Engages employees in problem resolution in order to improve production issues/efficiencies utilizing Lean Manufacturing techniques as needed.Fosters a positive working environment and drives Maintenance team to meet set productivity targets and performance standards.Ensures all regulatory compliance with various governmental agencies such as city, county, state is met on a consistent basis.Monitors and reviews Maintenance budget on a monthly basis; Prepares and implements annual budget each fiscal year.Assists in recruitment process of Maintenance personnel.Ensures Maintenance employees are properly trained in all aspects of their jobs. Identifies training gaps and develops training plans as needed.Performs other duties as assigned. Responsibilities: Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures.Lead and hold employees accountable in achieving maintenance goals and enhance employee work performance and productivity through coaching and feedback.Direct the troubleshooting of equipment failures to determine root cause and initiate appropriate remedial action.Oversee quality maintenance and repair of equipment to improve availability and reliability for production.Execute daily and weekly work schedules to ensure work is completed on time.Collect and analyze work delay codes to identify challenges to timely completion of scheduled jobs and work with available resources to reduce delays.Ensure preventative maintenance compliance and that repair history is properly documented.Assist in sourcing and requisitioning maintenance supplies, equipment, and services within budgeted guidelines.Use Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as PM compliance, schedule compliance and break-in work as tools to improve maintenance execution.Ensure the company’s current policies, procedures, H&S programs, and corporate security guidelines are applied effectively in 2 ways communication. Requirements: Three to five years of work experience in a manufacturing plant as a Maintenance Mechanic.Knowledge and experience working with high-speed equipment and electric-pneumatic controls.Able to use both a MIG welder, and ARC welder.Able to order parts and maintain inventory of all maintenance-related material.Ability to use a lathe, and milling machine considered an asset.Advanced working knowledge on mechanical/electrical systems and components; including, but not limited to, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Pumps, Gear Boxes, Power Transmission, Material Handling, Sensor, Transmitters, DC and AC circuits, Transformers, Power and Energy, Arc FlashWorking knowledge and experience on Automation; Industrial Process and Control system; PLC; Measuring Devices; Instrumentation; Robotic Application; Bulk Handling SystemWorking knowledge and experience on Facility Maintenance (Roof, Dock, plumbing) and Plant Equipment (Boiler, Air Compressors, Ammonia/Freon/Glycol Refrigeration, HVAC, Ventilation, Cooling Tower, Condenser, Backflow preventer, Sprinkler and Fire Extinguisher, Wastewater System, )Planning, scheduling & assigning ability while well experienced in defining priorities, required skills & resources.Computer Savvy, hold practical knowledge on Microsoft Office.Multitasked in a fast-paced environment with lots of changes in direction bases business requirement.Being an example for others; being a Safety-Oriented with a positive “can do attitude”.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to work collaboratively and effectively with other departments.Do you want to work with people who are dedicated to innovation and making the world a better place Do you want to build a career with a company that provides opportunities for growth and development Mauser Packaging Solutions is that company.Our mission is to help our customers achieve better sustainability with their packaging.
