The Flagger is responsible for directing the flow of traffic around construction sites, road maintenance areas, and other work zones. This role involves setting up and taking down traffic control signs, cones, and barricades to ensure the safety of workers and the public. The Flagger uses hand signals, signs, and other traffic control devices to communicate with motorists and guide them safely through or around the work area. The position requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, and the capability to stand for extended periods.
Set up signs, cones, and other traffic control devices around work areas to divert traffic. Effectively manage traffic flow with stop/slow paddles. Maintain clear and effective communication with team members using two-way radios. Regularly required to stand and walk and reach with hands and arms for up to 10 hours a day. Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move items over 50 pounds. Drive company vehicles to transport traffic control equipment to and from job sites. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure vehicles are in good working condition. Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, moving equipment and machinery parts, moving traffic, fumes, and airborne particles. Noise level of the work environment is usually moderate to loud. This support allows our Primary Care Physicians to see fewer patients and spend more time with those they do.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Patient CareEvaluates and treats center patients in accordance with standards of care.Follows level of medical care and quality for patients and monitors care using available data and chart reviews.Assists in the coordination of patient services, including but not limited to specialty referrals, hospital and SNF coordination, durable medical equipment and home health care.Acts as an active participant and key source of medical expertise with the care team through daily huddles.Helps Regional Medical Director and Center Administrator in setting a tone of cooperation in practice by displaying a professional and approachable demeanor.Completes all medical record documentation in a timely manner working with a quality- based coder to optimize coding specificity.Follows policy and protocol defined by Clinical Leadership.Meets with RMD about quality of care, review of outcome data, policy, procedure and records issues.Participates in potential growth opportunities for new or existing services within the Center.Participates in the local primary care “on-call” program of Partners in Primary Care as needed.Assures personal compliance with licensing, certification, and accrediting bodies.Spend 100% of your time clinically focused on direct patient care, inclusive of patient facing time and general administrative time (charting, meetings, etc.) as it relates to direct patient care.Use your skills to make an impact Required QualificationsGraduate of accredited MD or DO program from an accredited universityCurrent and unrestricted medical license or willing to obtain a medical license in state of practice; eligible and willing to obtain licenses in other states in the region of assignment, as requiredGraduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited universitySuperior patient/customer serviceBasic computer skills, including email and EMRExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrate a high level of skill with interpersonal relationships and communications with colleagues/patientsFully engaged in the concept of “integrated team-based care” modelWillingness and ability to learn/adapt to practice in a value-based care settingThis is a patient-facing role in our Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.
