Our stability, resources, and respectful culture supports you in building a solid career with a great team you can count on day in and day out for the long term.As an A&P Mechanic at StandardAero in Augusta, GA, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, and major inspections on turbofan and turboprop powered aircraft.What to expect in this role: Perform routine maintenance and major inspections on Honeywell engine types and models. Disassembly and re-assembly of Honeywell engine types and models.Remove and reinstall engines on aircraft for major periodic inspections and core zone inspections.Perform incoming and outgoing engine runs and line maintenance, as required.Accomplish all aspects of airframe removal and reinstallation, engine inspection and repair on road trips to accommodate customer aircraft. May perform other duties as required by the Department.Inspects aircraft/ engine in accordance with OEM Light or Heavy Maintenance manuals. Evaluates removed components for serviceability and document discrepancies (squawks). Troubleshoot and repair all engines as required. Document all work accomplished in a clear, concise and accurate manner. Accomplishes Service Bulletins, Repair Letters and Airworthiness Directive as required. Basic Qualifications:High School diploma (OR GED) A valid FAA Powerplant certificate required.
