Job descriptionJob SummaryAs a Production Welder, you will play a key role in the fabrication of metal components, contributing to the production of high-quality products through proficient welding techniques.Duties- Inspect welding joints and conduct tests to ensure welds meet company standards, national code requirements, and customer job specifications.- Interpret verbal and written instructions on drawings and/or procedures and apply as they relate to the part.- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of metal structures- Record inspection and test results and prepare and submit reports to welding engineering personnel.- Measure dimensions or work pieces to ensure conformance using calipers.
