Daily Thermetrics is a fast-growing manufacturing company, and we are looking for a dedicated Purchasing Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support our purchasing and sales departments, ensuring that projects are completed safely, accurately, and within tight deadlines to meet both quality standards and customer expectations.
The Purchasing Assistant is an entry-level position that plays a key role in maintaining the smooth operation of our supply chain. You will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support, assisting with the preparation of key procurement documents, and tracking orders to ensure timely deliveries.
Support the Purchasing Department in preparing RFQs (Request for Quotation), RFPs (Request for Proposal), and purchase orders. Collaborate with the Sales team to obtain pricing from suppliers for RFQs. Assist in tracking open orders, updating procurement statuses, and maintaining detailed reports. Work with the Accounting team to resolve supplier invoicing discrepancies. Communicate with suppliers to address missed deliveries, short shipments, and other order issues. Contribute to team objectives by taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
