What We Are Looking ForLake Granbury Medical Center’sMed/Surg Departmentis now hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse RN to work in our thriving 73 bed acute care hospital. The17 bed unitfocuses on Cardiac, Renal, and Neuro patients which encompasses complex patients that are both chronic and acute, and often with comorbidities. Nurses may be assisting with hemodialysis in our hemodialysis until on the same floor or taking post cardiac catheterization patients. Our Registered Nurses integrate standards of care into our daily practice that includes: commitment, effective communication, customer service, responsiveness, sense of ownership and positive attitudes.
What You Will DoJob Duties:
Deliver care to patients utilizing nursing processAssessing and planning care of your patientsIntervenes as appropriate and evaluates interventionsImplements safety/infection control measuresContinuously educates patient and familiesMaintains continuity of care with all departments
Minimum Requirements:
Associate’s degree in NursingCertified as a Registered Nurse in the State of TexasOne year experience as clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency programBLSACLSPALSNIHSSCPI training or within 6 months of hire
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in NursingPrevious Cardiac, Renal, Neuro, and/or telemetry experience
