Reinstalls and tests components after completed inspection.Troubleshoots and repairs all airframe systems as required (hydraulics, landing gear, etc.).Reads and interprets maintenance manual procedures, blueprints, technical manuals, and schematic diagrams when required.Analyzes a variety of mechanical problems and determines the cause and best method of repair.Tests operation and repairs/adjusts, as required: engines, engine controls and accessories, propellers and controls, landing gear, hydraulic systems and servicing, and flight controls, and adjusts rigging as required.Check and repair fuel, oil, oxygen, heating, cooling and pressurization systems.Utilize mechanics hand tools, precision measuring instruments, gauges and calibration test equipment.Remove and reinstall engines from turbofan and turboprop powered aircraft.Use sound judgment and technical aptitude to make decisions regarding maintenance, sequence, and techniques, troubleshooting and discrepancy resolution. Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GEDA valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License is required.Minimum 2years corporate aviation experience on Learjet, Hawker, Falcon, Challenger, and/or Embraer (Legacy/Praetor/ Phenom)Must be authorized to work in the U.S.Must be available to work second shift, with overtime and weekends as needed. Currently 2nd Shift Operates Tues-Friday, 10-hr shifts Preferred Qualifications: Aviation training: military training, aeronautical academy or technical school training and/or an Aviation Associates Degree.Factory authorized training on assigned aircraft or engines.
