We are looking for an Inventory Director to help manage the supply chain process, inventory, logistics, and distribution for Amigos Meat.
Job duties include but are not limited to: Implement inventory control measures to optimize inventory levels, minimize excess or obsolete stock, and ensure accurate tracking of materials. Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that materials meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Lead and mentor a team of materials management and inventory control professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high performance and alignment with organizational goals. Monitor and analyze costs associated with inventory control, transportation, and inventory management. Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement cost-effective solutions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within inventory management, identifying opportunities for process optimization, efficiency gains, and cost reductions. Collaborate closely with other departments such as production, sales, finance, and quality assurance to ensure alignment of materials management activities with overall business objectives.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Food Systems, Supply Chain Management or in a similar field preferred. Postgraduate degree in Supply Chain, Transportation Management, Logistics, or similar is highly valued. 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Inventory, Operations or Logistics Management. 2 years of Management experience. Familiar with Canopy Inventory Control system; a Windows-based suite of application modules designed for the Food Industry by Food Industry professionals is preferred but not required.
