Essential Functions and Duties: Handle and investigate requests from the County residents, government entities, and internal requests pertaining to the District's infrastructure. Identify channel maintenance repair solutions, costs, priorities, and schedules. Research the District's archived information, property rights, construction plans, historical data and existing right-of-way information. Handle requests for use and obtain rights-of-entry from private landowners to facilitate proposed channel maintenance activities. Prepare correspondence and reports in response to various internal and external letter requests. Monitor, define and direct channel maintenance activities along various channel systems within assigned territory. Provide updates to management on ROW activities, status, issues and provide recommendations. Communicate with the public and various governmental representatives. Provide budgeting information in support of the District’s annual maintenance budget. Obtain County Attorney’s legal opinion on right-of-way issues, if needed. Develop and maintain programs and plans for the maintenance of the District’s drainage facilities. Monitor flooding events and assist in the documentation of such events. Reporting to the Crew Leader, the Laborer is responsible for operating gasoline powered equipment and various hand tools used in the daily operation of maintaining clear channels, drainage elements and rights of ways in accordance with the District’s mission to maintain the Infrastructure.
Essential Functions and Duties: Cut and chop weeds and other types of vegetation using gasoline-powered equipment such as weed eaters and non-powered hand tools such as machetes, axes, or tree trimmers. Spray herbicides on selected weeds and grasses using filled backpacks that weigh between 25 and 30lbs. Remove and stack cut vegetation in, along and around channels, drainage elements and rights-of ways using hand rakes or pitchforks. May enter the channel in water up to three feet in depth or from the bank to dislodge and remove drifts and debris (trees, limbs, brush, vines, trash, and refuse) that impede water flow around and under bridges or other areas. May perform other duties that can be added or changed as the course and scope of the job directs.

Primary job function is working on various types of railcars, barges and above ground storage tanks. Tasks include cleaning and washing railcars using high pressure equipment, product removal, performing minor maintenance repairs and/or parts replacement. Must be willing to follow customer, company, FRA, and AAR guidelines. We are a national mobile service company. Traveling locally and nationally will be required at times, and may spend nights in a hotel.
Experience not required; However, the ideal candidate will have experience in the industrial cleaning industry or experience in the Rail/ Barge and above ground storage tanks. Minimum 5-day work week subject to required overtime, on-call, and alternate shifts that may include weeknights, weekends, and holidays.

Pol-Tex International is currently seeking a Non-CDL Yard Truck Driver to join our logistics team. Our fleet, facility, and equipment combined with our experienced and dedicated professional staff make Pol-Tex International the premier gathering and recycling center for the Gulf Coast Region.
Yard Drivers at Pol-Tex are responsible for relocating, docking, and transporting 48’ and 53’ trailers within our manufacturing facility. They must be able to keep up with a fast paced production environment while accurately recording information to ensure on-time shipment of goods. This position also uses propane, sit-down forklifts to help load and unload trailers. The role may involve additional responsibilities and opportunities as they become necessary and/or are assigned by management.
