Essential Functions and Duties: Perform manual work in preparing surfaces and mixing concrete for concrete pour. Operate small sized construction equipment, small engines, attachments, power tools and hand tools for channel and bayou maintenance. Maintain, clean, and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards. Assist with the evacuation of other equipment that have become disabled. Remove debris and/or selective vegetation from channel rights of way and de-snag channel bottoms. Clear trees, rocks, and any other large obstacles from the County rights-of-way. Prune limbs for access of equipment. Flag traffic to ingress and egress job sites. Act as a spotter for drivers/operators.
