We offer an immediate start date and provide hands-on, paid training. No experience is necessary.
Collect trash and recycling bags door to door within a local apartment community and take these items to the trash compactor or dumpster on the property site (no large or bulk items and no offsite driving and/or dumping) Typically work 5 nights a week from Sunday through Thursday. Enjoy weekends off! Work 2-3 hours per night, start time is either 7:00pm or 8:00pm and you are done between 10:00 pm - 11:00 pm (some positions may have earlier start/end times and Sundays may require more hours) Part time hours working 10-15+ hours per week

The Facility Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring that smaller multiple facilities or a larger complex facility has their physical structure and plant maintained and repaired in a timely and cost-efficient manner. In addition, this position supervises maintenance staff or outside construction vendors who perform remodeling, additions, maintenance service, and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, janitorial, general grounds, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, security, and electrical systems.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: The Facility Maintenance Manager coordinates with the Corporate Project Development team and manages construction or remodeling programs to ensure work is completed in a timely manner. Ensures that all necessary permits are obtained before projects start. Inspects completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards. Authorizes payment for completed work. Develops and maintains maintenance budgets and costs. Notifies management when facility maintenance costs are not following budget detail. Reviews production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements to ensure projects and work orders completion within appropriate deadlines. Establishes, prioritizes, and adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. Monitors Building Automation Systems (BAS). Reviews, records, and analyzes energy usage and costs. Determines better cost-effective approaches to reduce cost and energy usage. Directs workers engaged in maintaining the facility’s physical structure including plumbing, carpentry; painting; plastering; machine servicing; janitorial; general grounds; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning; security; and electrical systems. Directs workers engaged in ground maintenance activities including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, removing weeds, and raking and disposing of leaves and refuse. Directs workers assisting other departments as requested, including moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies. Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies needed to effectively maintain and operate the facility. Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase work efficiency. Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals. Maintains time and production records. Confers with supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments. May perform maintenance work, but only temporarily or in an emergency. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent certification required. Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Job Duties: Operate transit vehicles safely and smoothly to transport passengers. D&R operators: According to the schedule of the Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) or printed manifest. Assure compliance to all applicable DOT laws and regulations. Assists in emergency evacuations as assigned and performs other related work as required. Assure cleanliness of vehicles. Follow instructions from Dispatch and supervisory personnel and communicate any problems to dispatch. Complete daily vehicle pre/post trip inspections. Conducts operational vehicle inspections Maintain good customer/employee/supervisor relations. Report for duty promptly in proper uniform and physical condition and be ready to work any route assigned. Provide information to passengers in a helpful, courteous, efficient manner; use proper etiquette to assist passengers with disabilities. Utilize the communication systems (cell phones, radios and MDT’s) in accordance with BTD policies. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.
