Customer Product Repair Mechanic-First shift position, Overtime required Role Summary: The Customer Product Repair Mechanic is responsible for all processes related to disassembly, repair, and assembly of a range of equipment/products including but not limited to rotating equipment, of high energy electric actuators, pumps, small compressors, and decoking equipment. The CPRM will work with team leads to execute work as provided on work instructions, routers, drawings, and checklists. The CPRM independently selects and uses inspection equipment to check dimensions of all critical components during the assembly and repair process and gives a written description of the wear and condition of critical components. The CPRM will also be responsible to paint, install all tagging, and prep the equipment prior to shipment to the customer. Our teams specialize across Textron (Hawker), Embraer (Legacy / Praetor / Phenom), Bombardier (Learjet /Challenger), Dassault (Falcon).What to expect in this role:Inspects all types of aircraft (including engines, electrical instruments, structures, controls, environmental control systems, landing gear, accessories, etc.) before, during, and after maintenanceDetermines the serviceability of aircraft systems, parts, and components using precision measuring guides, gauges, instruments, measuring devices, magnification, and non-destructive testing (if appropriately certified).Accomplish preliminary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspection of all articles repaired, maintained, inspected, or altered by the facility.Provides procedural guidance to technicians and delegated inspectors.Trains and assists technicians in proper work procedures and practices.Monitors work in progress to ensure proper paperwork, procedures, techniques, and methods as prescribed by maintenance manuals, overhaul manuals, approved engineering documents, and other FAA approved data are used.Documents inspection results in inspection paperwork and log books. Accomplishes final review of work order documentation prior to final release of articles.
