You'll collaborate with other departments to ensure that our products and services meet the highest industry standards.As a Repair Development Engineer you will work offsite to help coordinate the transfer and analysis of critical parts and technical data, to help provide faster on time delivery and streamline production processes.What you'll do:Coordinate the transition of parts and technical data between production facilities.Work independently in an offsite location, acting as a liaison between different teams of engineers and production leaders.Develop systems and processes to support communication and reporting of key metrics.Provides the technical expertise and experience necessary to make airworthiness engineering decisions regarding major repair design activities, in accordance with the company design approval organization manual.Work with cutting-edge and industry leading technology and processes.Provides direction for continuous improvement of component repair methods and capabilities.Compiles and analyzes data on repairs; identifies root causes and rectify; develops measures of performance on all repair processes.Supports the production development group activity in modifying and refining existing repair schemes to eliminate and/or reduce the number of rejects occurring.Provides technical training support or mentoring for repair development and metallurgical analysis.Directs acquisition of equipment as required to meet repair development objectives.
