Support the internal human resources employment, employee relations and compliance programs of GST- Supply Chain Ops, consult with, coach and counsel managers and associates regarding processes, policies, and proper business conduct and demonstrate consistent corporate commitment to the Values Statement.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSReliable, consistent, on-site attendance is a requirement. This position requires punctuality and dependable attendance in order to meet the needs of the business; including attending and participating in meetings and presentationsProvides assistance to associates regarding Human Resources policies that impact the new hire entry of paid time off, compensation, and regulatory requirements while obtaining the proper approvals for all transactions.Supports recruiting and New Hire Orientation process and functions as the primary contact for new hire processing and documentation.Manages leave of absence (LOA) cases for assigned groups, partnering with associates, managers, human resources, safety, and legal to ensure accurate and timely administration of the LOA process. Adheres to HR processes that ensure the accurate data collection and entry of all the data points within the steps of the associate life-cycle. Produces accurate and timely reporting for BU customers, HR regulatory compliance and internal HR analysis.Captures and enters essential HR data in HRIS ensuring the information gathered is complete, accurate, and complies with all applicable policies and laws and maintain the integrity of all related HR & HSE databases.Actively participate in projects regarding new application rollouts, testing, reporting to ensure data integrity is not jeopardized. Responsible for initiating/processing appropriate status changes for supply chain business unitsWork cross-functionally and with multiple databases to support essential HR & HSE processes and other corporate functions. Research HR issues for associates, managers and leadership by utilizing established procedures, policies, resources, reports and other available data.Supports full-cycle recruiting processes for Supply Chain positions (pre-hire requirements through orientation delivery and/or coordination) and serves as a back-up “Recruiter” (SCO) to create requisitions, coordinate logistics for phone and face-to-face interviews, initiate and track background/drug tests, create and route offer letters, and track recruiting activities through databases and reports.Supports the Human Resources function across all shifts of operation for GST – Supply Chain with a strong focus on, employee relations, leave administration and HR operationsWorking knowledge of Title VII, ADA, FMLA, EEOC Laws and HR Best Practices Executing on initiatives and projects, in partnership with the business unit and leadership teams, while also focusing on HR functional goalsProviding education and training to managers and associates on the application of company policies and proceduresPartners with Shared Services and HR colleges on continuous improvement efforts, Policy development, and project implementation to effectively administer Human Resource services. Other duties as assigned.Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle consumer and customer data per applicable policies and procedures.Review and follow data privacy practices, policies, and guidelines.QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year College or University; plus 1-2 years of Human Resources experience or equivalent of education and experience with an emphasis in employment and/or associate relations required.
