DescriptionSummary: The Enterprise Database Engineer I (EDE I) is a strategic position providing the intermediate level of technical skill and expertise in the administration of Enterprise Database Systems. The EDE I is responsible for implementing, planning, management, design, architecture, life cycle management, configuration, operations and support of the CHRISTUS database environment. This position also performs monitoring, capacity planning and performance tuning along with managing the availability of the database server environment to ensure that no unplanned disruptions or data loss occurs. The EDE I requires comprehensive technical knowledge and experience in one or more of the following enterprise database solutions; MS SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB or MUMPS/CACHE.
