In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.What you will do in this role:Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.Participates in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.Collaborates with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.Supports the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives. Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff. Recommends and implements courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, completion of performance evaluations, and/or disciplinary actions to ensure a competitively better organization.Assists with staff scheduling. These include but are not limited to wet (steel, copper, and CPVC0, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices and bulletins, medication notices, etc. to diagnose and repair equipment.Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications software/systems, programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.Exhibit effective customer service skills by consistently communicating with the district staff and customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction.Electronically complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding and obtain customer’s signature.Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation.Perform other duties as assigned.Shift will be 7:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday through Friday with overtime as needed.What we look for Required0-5 years of documentation experience in Fire Sprinkler/Suppression industry.Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals.High school diploma or equivalent required.Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.Ability to work independently or in a team environment.Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.
