Our company driver’s primary focus is to transport/deliver heavy equipment safely and effectively to our various job sites throughout Houston and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate would have experience with oversize/over-dimensional heavy haul trucking.
Additional duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Delivering construction equipment to and from job sites. Works with the Superintendent to ensure proper permitting is secured. Maintain current truck logs per FMCSA regulations. Completed pre-and post-trip inspections thoroughly and reports immediate concerns to the Superintendent and Mechanic Supervisor. Securely loads equipment, machinery, and parts. Then safely transports to the destination. Finally unloads properly to prevent injury and/or damage. Comply with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations as well as company safety policies. Various yard duties.

Requirements: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-Class A) with appropriate endorsements. Valid TWIC Card. Must pass DOT physical, drug screen and criminal background check. 3-4 Years Experience transporting heavy construction equipment. Knowledge and ability to safely load, secure, and unload cargo using proper techniques. Knowledge and ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Knowledge and ability to fill out logbooks and company documentation in compliance with all regulatory and company requirements. Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening.
