Responsible for all personnel and general administrative matters i.e., first step grievances, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, payroll issues, etc. Maintains records of work performed and daily overtime, and absenteeism. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.  Additional vocational/training in heavy duty vehicle maintenance and supplementary training in body repair, transmissions, welding, electrical and/or air conditioning preferred. Minimum of 5 years extensive diesel-powered bus maintenance experience including direct mechanical/journey experience.  2 years previous lead/supervisory experience, or successful completion of the Career Advancement Program (CAP) is required.
