About 90% of our Forklift / Pallet Jack Fleet is electric, and 10% propane powered. The ideal candidate will be able to Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown models. Includes propane, electric motors, small motors, transmissions, drive axles, differentials, hydraulic systems, brake systems, steering systems, electrical systems, and lifting systems.
Salary range of $800/wk to $1000/wk depends on demonstrated knowledge, skills, abilities and verifiable work experience.

Work with your team to implement the right processes and practices across our organization to help ensure flight and product efficiency.As a Learjet Mechanic at StandardAero Houston, you will be responsible for using your sound judgment and technical aptitude to make decisions regarding maintenance, sequence, and techniques, troubleshooting and discrepancy resolution. You will perform operational checks and engine runs to ensure air-worthiness prior to departure.What to expect in this role:Inspects aircraft in accordance with OEM Light or Heavy Maintenance ManualsEvaluates removed components for serviceability and documents discrepancies (squawks). Reinstalls and tests components after completed inspection.Troubleshoots and repairs all airframe systems as required (hydraulics, landing gear, etc.).May perform fuel tank sealing on aircraft.Documents all work accomplished (aka sign-off) in a clear, concise and accurate manner.Accomplishes Service Bulletins, Repair Letters, and Airworthiness Directives as required.Reads and interprets maintenance manual procedures, blueprints, technical manuals, and schematic diagrams when required.Responsible for knowing, understanding, following, promoting, and continuously improving company policies and procedures.Analyzes a variety of mechanical problems and determines the cause and best method of repair.Tests operation and repairs/adjusts, as required: engines, engine controls and accessories, propellers and controls, landing gear, hydraulic systems and servicing, and flight controls, and adjusts rigging as required.Checks and repairs fuel, oil, oxygen, heating, cooling and pressurization systems.Utilizes mechanics hand tools, precision measuring instruments, gauges and calibration test equipment.Basic Qualifications:Corporate aviation experience and training on Learjet.High School Diploma or GEDA valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.Must be authorized to work in the U.S.Must be available to work overtime and weekends as needed.Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, lift 50 pounds unassisted, walk, bend, stretch, and climb ladders to service aircraft.Preferred Qualifications:Minimum 3 years corporate aviation experience on Learjet.Factory authorized training on Learjet.Benefits that make life better:Comprehensive Healthcare Insurance401(k) with a 5% company match, immediately vested.
