Here’s what you can expect on a typical day as a Maintenance Electrician on our team at Mauser Packaging Solutions:
Safety: Safety is our number one priority. You’ll learn our plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training including lockout/tagout, housekeeping, and 5S standards.Quality: We take pride in our output, and you take pride in ensuring our equipment is running smoothly and safely.High-Speed, Loud Environment: We are a manufacturing facility with multiple loud pieces of machinery. Some areas of the plant get very warm in the summer.Hard work: Each day you’ll be bending, lifting, stooping to repair equipment. You will investigate the cause of line downtime and implement a fix. This can include replacing sensors, contacts, motors, and drives. You’ll work with PLC equipment, run power and ethernet lines, and troubleshoot high-voltage equipment. You are responsible for keeping your equipment in safe, usable condition and your area safe and tidy at all times.Supportive Team: Everybody plays an integral part in this work-family as we strive to reach all our goals and deliver an excellent product.Excellent Benefits: We offer an excellent benefits package including a pension plan. Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent requiredRead, develop, and understand pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic documentation and drawings and interpret equipment dataExperience and demonstrated knowledge of troubleshooting skills, primarily in PLC motor controls and electrical equipmentPerform PLC programming & diagnostics on various systems and troubleshoot electrical equipment such as relays, contactors, overloads, timers, photodetection & proximity switches or light curtainsStrong understanding of Allen Bradley Control Systems – legacy and current systemsExperience with Fanuc a plusStrong problem-solving skillsComputer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook a plusGood verbal and written communication skillsGood mathematical and organizational skillsGood interpersonal skillsMust be willing to occasionally work multiple shifts when necessaryDo you want to work with people who are dedicated to innovation and making the world a better place Do you want to build a career with a company that provides opportunities for growth and development Mauser Packaging Solutions is that company.Our mission is to help our customers achieve better sustainability with their packaging.
