Job Title: CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 2
Location: Onsite, Boydton, VA
Pay Range: $30/hr. - $35/hr.
OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification required.What’s the Job
As a CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 2, you will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a focus on safety, ensuring all tasks are completed effectively and efficiently.
• Complete all tasks listed in the CE Tech Level 1 role description.
• Perform daily operational readings of all electrical equipment through routine rounds/log-taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.).
• Follow operating procedures (SOPs) for critical environment planned work activities.
• Energize cabinets in a Colo and conduct Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) preventative maintenance quarterly and annually.
• Conduct system control panel and battery preventative maintenance.
• Assist in troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing instrument sensors and calibrating them.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and compliance with physical security policies and procedures.What’s Needed
• Previous data center experience is a plus.
• Fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code.
• Qualified Electrical Worker preferred.
• Experience with electrical systems in high availability environments, such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceuticals, or manufacturing.
• OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification required.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of work/applied learning experience in technical fields (e.g., automotive, electrical, controls, data center).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, or 3, 4, or 5-day work weeks.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).What’s it in me
