Responsibilities include assessment of physical and psychosocial needs, patient education, and the administration of neurological infusion therapies, immunotherapy, and blood products. The nurse evaluates the patient's response to interventions and implements appropriate changes and also assist in symptom management, coordination of internal and external resources, triaging unexpected patient visits and facilitating communication between all members of the health care team. Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesAdministers neurological therapies, immunotherapy, and blood products according to policy and procedure. Obtains blood samples from Central Venous Access devices according to policy and procedure.Communicates patient's clinical information clearly and accurately in verbal and written format. Clearly and accurately documents pertinent information in the patient's medical record.
